In an attempt to render my previous blog post about podcasts obsolete, we sat down one weekend for a casual hackathon. The result is podcastprofile.com, a place to create a profile and showcase which podcasts you are listening too.
We are pretty happy with the result of 2 days of coding. Since our launch about 3 weeks ago, we have put some more hours into the project to make the user settings more usable and appealing.
Currently, we are leaving the project for this specific use case. It will currently appeal to everyone who is happy with just a personal profile and nothing more. As soon as we collect some more usage data, we will probably invest time in some kind of Explore area to find interesting podcasts. But for now, it’s online the way it is. Free to use and even open source.
So here’s my profile. Now go get yours.
